The Idiap Research Institute is an independent, nonprofit research foundation located in Martigny (Valais, Switzerland). Inaugurated in 1991, and accredited by the State and Federal Governments, Idiap is affiliated with the "Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne" EPFL and the University of Geneva. Idiap is committed to leading-edge research and developments in the areas of Speech Processing, Computer Vision, Information Retrieval, Biometric Authentication, Multimodal Interaction and Machine Learning.

Special Events COI Workshop 2009: AMI Community of Interest Workshop

The AMI Consortium invites the members of its Community of Interest (COI) and all the Friends of AMI to participate in a special workshop designed to:

  • establish and maintain fruitful, collaborative working relationships between COI members and AMI Scientists,
  • review our progress to date and chart the course of future tools, products and meeting processes using AMI Consortium technologies, and
  • learn the results of recent projects involving the COI members and AMI Consortium partners, and the AMI Market Readiness Assessment survey.
February 5-6, 2009, The COI Workshop will be held in the University of Edinburgh Informatics Forum, Scotland
