FF66FFI was walking home from school one day, when I passed by a child who was selling bread. I stopped by and noticed that the poor child was studying and reading from a torn book. He looked up at me with tearful eyes that are full of pain and said "Ma'am, please buy some bread from me, as I'm the only child left for my sick mother. I need money to finish studying and work so I can help her get better.". And that's when I felt a lightning bolt hit me in order to awaken me from the nap I've been taking the whole 13 years I've lived.
I always used to think that money can buy you success in life. But I was terribly wrong. As money can get you to the best schools and universities. But, it can never make you pass a chemistry exam you weren't prepared for. Money can help you buy lots of clothes but, it can't always make you confident and trendy. Money can get you a life partner but, it can never make them love you. Money can be a nightmare when it comes to success. But you can always wake up from a dreadful nightmare and go on with life normally. What I'm trying to say here is that who you are and how much money you have shouldn't be an obstacle on your way to success. You can be anything you want to be if you work hard enough. Because, big chances come and go, and you should take those chances as they might never come back again.
I went to a private school for 9 years, and when I joined a government school my parents put a lot of pressure on me to be the best in everything since I've graduated from a private school. And that's not only MY parents, all parents think that taking their children to private schools will make them geniuses compared to other students. But, they just don't get it. Spending money on private schools won't make your children successful if they're not willing to. What matters the most is the will. And I strongly believe in the quote that says "Where there's a will, there's a way". And my neighbour is the biggest living proof on that, as he didn't have any money to study, but he worked hard to become a successful doctor with a wonderful family. And he always used to tell me that every obstacle in your life is a helping hand that will teach you new things in life and make you ready for the REAL obstacles that are waiting for you in the REAL world when you finish studying and start looking for a job. To make it short and simpler to understand, poverty might be a problem when you're willing to study and become successful but it will make you work harder and prepare you for the problems you'll face in the future. But, those problems shouldn't be a pain in the neck if you believe in yourself. A wise man once said "You can be anything you set your mind to" So, what are you waiting for? Let's start our engines and cross the road of success!!
